Calderwood happy with victory
Forest boss Colin Calderwood was happy with Forest's first league victory of the season. Forest beat Watford 3-2 in a match that saw first league goals for Martin, Earnshaw, and Tyson.

Nottingham Forest deservedly chalked up their first League victory of the season seeing off Watford at The City Ground. Watford twice pegged back The Reds after Martin and Earnshaw had scored. However Tyson came off the bench to hit the winner after Earnshaw's freekick had hit the post.

Garner on target for September return

Forest's Joe Garner - a £1.14m signing from Carlisle is set to return to action much sooner than first thought. It was thought the striker would be out until Christmas but he looks set to return to full training next week.

McGugan injured

Forest's Lewis McGugan is the latest player on the Nottingham Forest injury list after a scan revealed the extent of his thigh injury. The young midfielder has been struggling with a thigh injury since pre-season but it has been revealed he has a torn thigh.
